Through more than 20 years of research, testing, training and improving athletes, OC Rain Basketball has a methodology that maximizes basketball players potential. At the heart of our program is the proprietary equipment and scientific based protocols that help basketball players learn to move better, get faster and become more powerful. The components of our basketball training include:

Speed Training: In basketball, speed allows players to create separation on defense and offense. To get faster and more explosive, you have to teach your body to move faster. Using our basketball-specific protocols, and proven protocols that take the basketball player beyond their ground-based training limits by forcing them to work on their weaknesses  and to reach peak speeds and maintain them for longer durations. 

Strength Training: In basketball, it is the strongest, most powerful player who gets the rebound, plays lock-down defense or gets to the rim through traffic. Using a mix of free weights, resistance cords, medicine balls and TRX cables, our protocols are biomechanically specific to basketball skills and athleticism. 

Plyometric Training: In basketball, explosive power allows players to dominate both ends of the court. Plyometric training is a form of power training which dramatically increases vertical jump height, first step quickness and lateral movement and rotation.
